This package is the perfect way to dip your toe in the destination wedding waters. Maybe you need assistance with your venue search before you officially commit to the Big Island, or maybe you’re a true DIY couple and just needs a little extra support. Regardless of where you are in your planning journey, our Kickstarter package is great for anyone who needs help, but isn’t ready to book a planning and coordination package - whatever the reason.

Our beautiful rental library features an eclectic mix of items we’ve accumulated over the years. We have everything from place settings, to vases, to candle holders, and so much more. Our rentals are available for any event—even for clients not using our planning services—but they will be reserved for exclusive use by our planning clients first.
Your general event staff will handle any task that needs doing as requested by your Sunshower planner. They’ll decorate, serve, bus tables, wash dishes, repurpose flowers, light candles, and even finish DIY projects … pretty much anything you need. Staff needs are determined together depending on your guest count, the scope of your event, and the services required.
Please note: General event staff requires a 4-hour minimum

We’ll get to work by first sending over your personalized planning portal. Think of this portal as your mission control center for all things wedding! Depending on your unique needs and the number of planning hours we are trying to stay within, we’ll work together to secure vendors, plan logistics, and bring your vision to life on the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii.
After you’ve reviewed your custom proposal, we’ll invite you to a complimentary call. During this time, we’ll get to know each other better and you can ask any and all questions you may have! When you’re ready to officially book, make your first payment, sign your contract, and get ready to begin planning!
The big day arrives! All you have to do is show up and focus on enjoying each and every moment. If you’ve booked us for on-site coordination, your planner and chosen staff will be there to ensure your day feels effortless.

Our custom hourly planning services offer unmatched flexibility to our couples. We’ll tailor our support to your specific needs so you can pay for what you want (and put what you would’ve spent on unneeded planning towards your honeymoon!).
Absolutely! Working with clients who know nothing about wedding planning is our bread and butter. We’d be happy to help you figure out everything from selecting a venue to planning the tiny details. Just inquire to get started!
We book weddings up to 2 years in advance. If you’d like to lock in our current pricing and secure your wedding date with our team, we’d highly recommend booking ASAP. However, it’s never too late to work with us if we have your date available. (Fun fact: the fastest we’ve ever planned a full wedding was in two weeks!)
Share your completed proposal questionnaire and we will write you a custom proposal for the services that we think you’ll need based on your questionnaire. You will review that proposal on a call with your planner and she can answer all of your questions about next steps. You will receive your proposal within 48 hours of sending it in, but usually faster.
There isn’t a planning service that we don’t offer - our team does it all. Budgeting is our bread and butter - the more detailed the spreadsheet, the more we love it. Design is usually approached as a collaboration between the planner and the couple, but we are happy to take on as much of the design as you’d like. It is usually the most fun part of wedding planning (other than the cake tasting).
In addition, to handling as many of the usual planning tasks for you as you’d like, we also run errands, accept packages, finish DIY projects, steam linens, create stationary designs and more. All of those things will be billed as planning hours though - so for most clients, in order to be mindful of their budgets, they choose to use our time on the services that will give them the most peace of mind and help take the most of of their plates.
With our help, your wedding planning experience will be one that you can look back on with joy and appreciation. Our planners (and our crazy-good staff!) are here to handle everything you don’t want to, so all you have to focus on is sharing your ideas and enjoying your wedding day to the fullest.
