This calculator is formulated specifically for weddings on the Big Island of Hawaii.

All of the costs are based on general averages for that professional service or vendor category.

There may be ways to spend less on a vendor (for example, having pizzas delivered for your reception or desserts from Costco) but this calculator will not be giving ranges that include those types of cost-saving measures. This calculator assumes that you will have professional vendors in every category (or skip that category entirely).  

The calculator will not be accurate for all types of weddings

This calculator will not be accurate for elopements, micro-weddings, or ceremony-only weddings without a reception. It is best for couples planning weddings for over 15 guests that will have a ceremony and a reception. It is also not formulated for public beach weddings.

Our team, and our clients, have tested this budget calculator for accuracy but all weddings are different and depending on the exact vendors you hire and packages you select, prices will vary. There are also strategies to reduce costs that are not accounted for in this budget calculator. For example, repurposing your ceremony florals to your reception.
